Five-layer co-extrusion blow molding machines are mainly suitable for resins with gas barrier properties, such as HDPE, MHDPE, LDPE, LLDPE, MLLDPE, PA, and EVOH. The film produced by these machines is primarily used for heavy-duty packaging, food packaging bags, vacuum packaging bags, and liquid packaging bags, achieving the packaging objectives of preserving aroma, freshness, preventing spoilage, sealing, and extending shelf life. Below is a brief introduction to five-layer co-extrusion blow molding machines.
How to Use a Five-Layer Co-extrusion Blow Molding Machine:
1. Check that the temperature control system is functioning correctly and that the heating elements are in good condition. Ensure that the temperature at each point is maintained within the specified range.
2. Check the pulling speed to control the film thickness.
3. Observe and adjust the film thickness uniformity and ensure the tube diameter meets the standard.
4. Check the pressure in the air storage tank of the five-layer co-extrusion blow molding machine. The pressure should not be too high, but there should be a reserve pressure.
5. Control the raw material ratio and ensure thorough mixing.

6. Check the raw materials for impurities, especially using a magnet to detect any iron particles.
7. Check the position of the gearbox and the lubrication of the compressor cylinder in the five-layer co-extrusion blow molding machine.
8. Regularly check the temperature rise of each operating motor and the condition of the mechanical transmission.
Cleaning and Maintenance of Five-Layer Co-extrusion Blow Molding Machines:
1. When cleaning the five-layer co-extrusion blow molding machine, use a copper scraper, rod, or compressed air, but avoid damaging the screw or its smooth surface.
2. Before starting the five-layer co-extrusion blow molding machine, check the speed reducer and lubrication system to prevent dry running, which can damage the machine and cause noise.
3. Within the film forming conditions, increasing the molding temperature, cooling air temperature, and inflation ratio will increase film opacity and decrease gloss; conversely, decreasing these parameters will decrease opacity and increase gloss.
4. After the mold outlet is uniform, wearing gloves, slowly pull up the tube, close the end of the tube, slightly open the air inlet valve, inject a small amount of compressed air into the central hole of the mold core, and then carefully guide it. The film passes through a stable foam frame and a herringbone-shaped guide, then through the drive rollers and guide rollers until it reaches the winding station (and through the embossing rollers if embossing is required).
5. In a five-layer co-extrusion blow-film machine, the compressed air pressure used to inflate the film tube must be appropriate; it should neither damage the film tube nor compromise the symmetry and stability of the film, thus ensuring consistent production quality.
